Backporch Coffee Roasters--GIVEAWAY!!
I have been quiet on the blog the past few days. Mostly because in my opinion, there haven't been many screaming deals to write about. But, also because we just closed on a house and I've been busy packing.
However, I am very excited about this giveaway because with 2 kids under 3 coffee is my life-line.
For those that don't know, Backporch Coffee Roasters is in Bend, off of Newport Ave. Their coffee is amazing-definitely the best in town. They take great pride in their roasting and it's easily reflected in the amazing taste and aroma that fills the shop. Backporch is certified for organic processing and is also a Fair Trade retailer. YAY!
I love the fact that their "drip" isn't drip, it's French Press so it never tastes acidic!! And better yet? They have a FRUGAL deal!! They offer a double espresso for $1 if you ride your bike. Their espresso is done to perfection...no burnt shots there. And, Backporch also offers free wi-fi. Go here to read more about Backporch Coffee Roasters.
Now to the giveaway...I am giving away a 1/2 lb of their amazing Backporch Blend coffee. This would make a great Christmas gift (if that's what you choose to do I can send it to your the 1st of December so it's fresh!) or you can indulge yourself and drink it right away.

Albertsons Catalina Update!! HOT!
I tried out the before/after coupon deal at Albertsons. I just couldn't believe that Bend would be the only place that wouldn't allow the $25 to be BEFORE coupons.
Here's the transaction I did:
2 Flour
2 Broth
2 Pie Crust
2 Cinnamon Rolls
2 Cheerios
2 YoPlus Yogurts
Before coupons the total came to $25.42
After coupons & $5.50 catalina I had from last transaction total was: $7.84
And yes, my $10 catalina printed, as did my $2.50 Pillsbury Catalina.
SCORE! That's like a $4.66 moneymaker :)

Albertsons Doublers
There were 3 Albertson's Doublers in today's Oregonian (good for 10/18, 10/19, 10/20). I haven't determined yet if they have this ad in the store too. If you purchase the Early Edition Oregonian, it's cheaper. Either way, if you're sure you will use the doublers (will double up to $1.00) then it's worth buying the Oregonian!
