I went to Albertsons last night to do the scenario I listed below. It worked GREAT! I got my $10 catalina, a $2.50 catalina (for the fruit snacks) and a $3.00 catalina (for the Pillsbury). YAY! Not only that, but there was a $1/2 coupon stuck to the Pillsbury Pie Crust making my total after coupons $25.48.
Also, you can "roll" these catalinas in to your next purchase. SO...if you do 2 transactions with the purchase $25 get $10 cat then you can use your cats from the previous purchase. E.g. I paid $25.48 for my first purchase and got $15.50 in catalinas. I can then purchase $25 and use the $15.50...pay $9.50 out of pocket and get another $10-$16.50 back in cats (depending on what combos you buy). That's a $.50 - $7.00 MONEY MAKER!
If you live in Washington, your $25 total just needs to be BEFORE coupons. Nice huh?
